Weekly Rector's Note: A Flurry of Activity
Dear Saints,
The December snow has melted, but January has been a flurry of activity at All Saints!
Last week we had a wonderful Newcomer’s Presentation & Building Tour. There were 20 in attendance with over half of them being people who started attending recently.
I’m also happy to report that yesterday we had a successful Red Cross Blood Drive, which brought in a number of people from All Saints and the wider community. The event either reached capacity or was close to it. Either way, it was nice to see the building bustling for a good and much needed cause.
This Sunday, we have another exciting presentation lined up. Our Master Plan Committee will be sharing in the Parish Hall after the 10:15 service. This will be an opportunity for everyone to meet committee members, get a refresher on the plan, and hear latest developments and next steps. Grab some delicious coffee and join the conversation!
Continuing in the Epiphany theme, our children will talk about being a light in the darkness during the Sunday school time, with a special focus on Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Kids are always welcome to bring something to share, show, or tell. For youth staying in service with their families, keep an eye out for youth materials as you enter the Nave. We will be exploring different options over the coming weeks. Also, parents, if you haven’t completed the survey yet please do so this week.
Lastly, it’s not too late to buy tickets for the Derek Webb show this Sunday night! Get your tickets here.
In peace,
Andria+
