Weekly Rector's Note: Holy Week Begins & Prayers for Ukraine Tonight
Dear Saints,
On this Sunday we enter into the most holy week of the year. Through a palm procession and a dramatic reading of Christ’s passion, we will experience up close the vision of the kingdom of God. Jesus was willing to give his life for this vision and it has inspired the church for centuries since. I hope you can join us for this service, and any of our Holy Week and Easter services listed below.
You can also join us tonight at 6:30pm for communal prayer followed by a Stations Walk for Ukraine led by Artist In Residence, Paige Lehmann. And please mark your calendars for the Portland Chamber Concert, "Standing with Ukraine," on April 30th at All Saints, the proceeds of which will go to support relief efforts.
My prayers are with you this week. I look forward to sharing this sacred time together.
In peace,
Andria+
Almighty God, we pray you graciously to behold this your family, for whom our Lord Jesus Christ was willing to be betrayed, and given into the hands of sinners, and to suffer death upon the cross; who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.
