Weekly Rector's Note: Celebrating Endings and New Beginnings
“Celebrate endings — for they precede new beginnings.” Jonathan Lockwood Huie
Dear Saints,
This Sunday, we will celebrate an ending as we share our gratitude for Cris’ time with us at All Saints. With cake and gifts, we will celebrate so many good memories, as well as the new beginnings this signals for her in her next project. We can also celebrate the new beginnings ahead for us. Though they may not be fully formed, we have seen God’s faithfulness time and time again, which means we can greet what’s next with joyful anticipation.
I'm also happy to announce another new beginning on the horizon. In the new year, we will welcome Amanda Cintron as our Director of Children’s Ministry. Amanda is an All Saints parishioner and parent. She brings unique gifting, passion and experience to this role. Amanda will officially begin in January, but she will be reaching out to parents to seek input before then. You can read more in her note below. Please join me in welcoming her in this capacity.
In peace,
Andria+
