Ways to Serve this Sunday | All Saints Episcopal Church

Dear Saints,

It’s great to be back after spending some time in Victoria, BC. We got to worship at Christ Church Cathedral while we were there and appreciated the warm welcome we received from their community.

Tomorrow night is the newcomers potluck dinner at the Gustafson's. It's not too late to sign up if you would like to come! (info below)

This Sunday, our ministry leaders will be hosting informal conversation at Coffee Hour about Ways to Serve at All Saints. Just look for the signs at the table and join the conversation. There is no pressure to sign up. Even if you aren’t looking to add any volunteer activities, it’s a great opportunity to hear from fellow parishioners about cool things that are happening in our church and what they love about their ministry.

Next Saturday, June 29th, our intern from England, Alex Firman, will be ordained to the priesthood. You can catch the livestream at 3am Portland time! Or you can watch the recording online the next day. I’ll share the link when we have it. He is excited about the gifts we sent and is going to wear the stole presiding at his first Sunday Eucharist.

Please save the date for sharing from our Visioning Team on Sunday July, 30 at both Coffee Hours. I am so excited about the work they and the Vestry have done and this unique moment we find ourselves in as a Parish with all its possibility.

And please be praying for all of our parish leaders, including Alan Murray and Deacon Maureen Hagen, as they gather for General Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.

Our 8:00 A.M. Holy Communion, Rite 1 Service, held in the Chapel, is our most traditional service. All are welcome. Our 10:15 A.M. Holy Communion, Rite II Service, held in the Sanctuary, includes a Sermon, Readings, and Hymns. You can participate In-Person or in the Live Premiere on our Facebook page or watch on our website.
