Happy Feast of St. Nicholas
Dear Saints,
Today is the Feast of St. Nicholas (Dec. 6) an observance we will transfer to this coming Sunday when St. Nicholas will visit our children in the Nursery and Godly Play, leaving treats in their shoes as was his custom. Be sure to get a pic with St. Nich after the 10:15am service in the Parish Hall.
St. Nicholas is known for his generosity, charity and strong sense of social justice and advocacy for the poor and wrongfully accused.
This Sunday we will also introduce our new Little Free Library! The library was made possible by a grant secured by parishioner, Chris Gustafson, and painted by our Artist In Residence, Paige Lehmann. It will focus on works representing the stories and experiences of people of color.
Blessings to you on the last days of this first week of Advent and as we prepare to light another candle together this weekend.
Andria+
