Shrove Tuesday Pancakes at Home | All Saints Episcopal Church

One of our favorite All Saints traditions is the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner. This year we can continue the tradition at home with a little bit of pre-planning.

Get your favorite pancake recipe and ingredients.
Procure appropriate sides and toppings: butter, syrup, applesauce, sausage, or meatless breakfast meats.
Get some fun Shrove swag. Beads, masks, whatever you have leftover from other holidays so long as it's festive.
Study the history of Shrove Tuesday and even hold a pancake themed relay in your home if possible.
Take a picture of yourself celebrating and send it to the Church Office for inclusion in Enews and to make us all smile.
Imagine that glorious day when we share pancakes together in the Parish Hall once again!

Our 8:00 A.M. Holy Communion, Rite 1 Service, held in the Chapel, is our most traditional service. All are welcome. Our 10:15 A.M. Holy Communion, Rite II Service, held in the Sanctuary, includes a Sermon, Readings, and Hymns. You can participate In-Person or in the Live Premiere on our Facebook page or watch on our website.
