Rose Sunday + Grubby Sunday
Dear Saints,
This Sunday is the Fourth Sunday in Lent. Also known as Laetare Sunday or refreshment Sunday, it's one of the two Sundays of the year that we wear our beautiful Rose colored vestments. Worshippers are encouraged to wear pink, too.
It's also our Annual Spring Cleanup. So wear your work clothes to church and join us after the 10:15am service to spruce up the grounds for Easter (bonus if you wear grubbies AND pink). We'll have a pizza lunch in the Parish Hall for everyone to enjoy.
Additionally, it's Daylight Savings on Sunday, so set your clocks or let your phones do their magic. And this weekend also marks the four year anniversary of when we moved to online worship during the pandemic. We will have a chance to reflect a bit on that experience in our services, as well.
Lastly, our Pantry painting begins today. Please let me know if you can join us for a shift tomorrow around 12:30 or 1pm. And be sure to check out the progress being made on the structure -- very exciting!
In peace,
Andria+
