Resonance: The Stations of the Cross
Prayer: a personal and communal tradition as old as time. This year, as we move through the Stations, we’re invited to participate again in a conversation with God and our hearts using our inner voices and resonance. The branches hanging at each station were carefully collected, trimmed, and hung with chimes to surround you in a simplicity of nature and a soundscape of prayer.
Before you begin your journey, select a stick from the glass jar by the door. And as you move through the stations, use it to strike the chime. Experience the sound of prayer and hearts in communion with Jesus and his last steps as you journey through, each chime a note to the Divine, each chime a moment for another person. The project is called Resonance, and it’s personal and communal because it’s an embodiment of a dialogue with God.
Walk the Stations Tuesdays and Thursdays in Lent, from noon until 1pm; Good Friday (April 15), from noon to 1pm; and after any of our Sunday services.
