Rector’s Note: What’s Next with the Master Planning?
Dear Saints,
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the Master Planning presentation and/or survey. I’m thrilled by the number of responses that we got, the overall enthusiasm for the project, and further ideas and considerations that were generated. We had over 70 responses, which is a great outcome in relation to our 87 membership households.
At our last meeting, the Vestry and I had the chance to go over the results. In summary, the data revealed that people are universally in favor of improving accessibility, there is high interest in freshening up our spaces and restroom facilities, there is energy around opening up Parish Hall and Lower Level facing Woodstock, and further research and discussion would be needed for the consideration of a building addition or updates in the Nave/worship space.
Our next task will be to collate the data so that we can share and discuss the results together in September. We can also begin to modify the plan based on the feedback, obtain estimates, and break it down into phases that reflect the parish’s priorities. Thank you once again for your investment in this process and stay tuned!
This Sunday, Rev. Deborah will be leading our services while I am taking time with family at the coast. I look forward to being with you for our fall kick off and Homecoming celebration on September 12.
In peace,
Andria+
