Rector's Note: Weekend Updates | All Saints Episcopal Church

Dear Saints,

It’s good to be back after a week spent in Northern California visiting family. We had a great time of resting, playing, and catching up with loved ones. As we head into the weekend, there are a couple of things I’d like to share with you:

First, our Pantry container arrived today! It has been placed in a temporary location while the electricity for the unit is being set up and the area prepped for the container’s long-term placement. This is a significant next step in relocating the Woodstock Pantry and making the set up more efficient.

Second, Liz Klein, who interned at All Saints, is going to be ordained on August 7. The details are below. It would be wonderful if a good All Saints contingent could be there to support her in person or online, so please save the date.

And finally, the Celebration of Life for Jann Jasperse, daughter of Bill Stewart, is going to be this Saturday at 4pm. The service is open for anyone who would like to attend and there will be a time for fellowship after.

I look forward to worshipping with you in our services this weekend, the 8:00am in-person and call-in service, the 9:00am outdoor family service, and the 10:15am in-person and livestream service. Also, please note that the new July Compline prayers are on our website now for your use in evening prayers.

Our 8:00 A.M. Holy Communion, Rite 1 Service, held in the Chapel, is our most traditional service. All are welcome. Our 10:15 A.M. Holy Communion, Rite II Service, held in the Sanctuary, includes a Sermon, Readings, and Hymns. You can participate In-Person or in the Live Premiere on our Facebook page or watch on our website. The current bulletin and service can always be found in the Online Worship section of our website. All are welcome.
