Rector's Note: Feast of All Saints
Dear Saints,
I am so excited for this Sunday! It’s the day we celebrate the Feast of All Saints, which is our parish feast day. It's also the day we remember our loved ones and all the saints who have gone before us. Don’t forget to bring pictures of loved ones to put on our Dia de los Muertos altar. There is also a set of prayers on the altar to take home and pray through this 3 day holiday.
In our services there will be opportunities to pray and light candles for people we are remembering. There will be special music and the Eucharist will be chanted at the 10:15am service. We will have cake receptions after the 9am and 10:15 services.
It’s also Halloween! Kids (and kids at heart) can wear their costumes to any of the services. We are inviting kids to do a procession at the beginning of the 10:15 service. Families at the 9am service can stay just for the procession and leave after if they would like to participate.
I'm looking forward to beautiful weather and all of the festivities to mark this special day.
In peace,
Andria+
