Making Altars: A Workshop in Tactile Spirituality

What are holidays without beauty, love, and decoration? How can you create your own, personal altar to give you strength, love, and joy throughout the season and beyond? Johanna and Paige are offering a super special Alter Making class on Sunday November 27th after coffee hour in the Guild Room. Learn how to put everyday objects together to create beautiful, and deeply meaningful, combinations to inspire your heart. Altars are wonderful ways to honor loved ones, special times in your life, and to interact with spirituality in a tactile way. Please collect and bring a small group of items, photos, found objects and things that you would like in your altar. We will have boxes, glue, magazines, and examples. We're looking forward to seeing you there and sharing this special class with you!

Our 8:00 A.M. Holy Communion, Rite 1 Service, held in the Chapel, is our most traditional service. All are welcome. Our 10:15 A.M. Holy Communion, Rite II Service, held in the Sanctuary, includes a Sermon, Readings, and Hymns. You can participate In-Person or in the Live Premiere on our Facebook page or watch on our website. The current bulletin and service can always be found in the Online Worship section of our website. All are welcome.
