Lent, Love and Racial Justice
Dear Saints,
This Sunday we will be joined by Cara Meredith, author of The Color of Life: A Journey Toward Love and Racial Justice. She will be our guest preacher at the 10:15am service and will host a Q&A over coffee and treats after the service. Cara is a friend of mine and a writer and speaker you won't want to miss!
This Sunday also marks the first Sunday in Lent. We will begin with the Great Litany and our service prayers and music will reflect the tone of this moving, contemplative season.
I am so thankful for the beautiful Ash Wednesday services that we shared this last week. We had over 80 people in total. If you haven't started a Lenten practice, it's not too late. The Daily Lenten Devotional digital reader is available below and we have paper copies in the Narthex. You might also consider attending one of our Wednesday Lenten Eucharists at Noon in the Chapel.
Lastly, please mark your calendars for our Financial Wholeness Worship on February 29. Anna Yuan, an All Saints parishioner and Accredited Financial Counselor, has an excellent presentation for us. We'll have snacks and fun and insightful conversation with tremendous possibilities.
In peace,
Andria+
