Juneteenth + Summer Fun
Don’t forget to purchase your tickets for the Portland Pickles game this Monday where we’ll be celebrating Juneteenth with our friends at the Voices Project! Support local black-owned businesses at Walker Stadium and have fun will fellow All Sainters. Tickets are $12 with half of the proceeds going to the Voices Project. Don't forget, since we are sitting on the berm, you'll need to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. If you need help with that, please let me know. Also, we had a couple of free tickets come up. Please let me know if you are interested in one of those.
This weekend we’ll also be celebrating Juneteenth through familiar songs and hymns from the Gospel tradition at the 10:15am service and in our prayers. If you would like to be part of the impromptu choir for that service, just show up at 9:30am in the Chancel (where the choir usually sings). We would love to have your voice!
We had a great time at the 9:15am Outdoor Service last week. It was so beautiful and fun to worship outside. We'll be out on the lawn again this Sunday, same time same place.
Finally, this is the last weekend to fill our the All Saints Building Renovations survey. You can find the link here. Thank you to everyone who has filled out one so far. We have had a great response and your input has been invaluable. The committee will be sharing the results and next steps soon.
In peace,
Andria+
