Juneteenth Planning with The Voices Project
On the weekend of Juneteenth, All Saints is collaborating with The Voices Project to offer a series of events to celebrate this holiday, which marks the end of slavery in our country. Join us on Sunday, March 13 at 11:30am in the Parish Hall to hear an overview from the Rev. Leroy Barber, Executive Director of The Voices Project, on the ways to get involved with this effort. There will also be formation opportunities on allyship and how we encourage equity and diversity in our own contexts. This planning session is open to the wider community, so please invite anyone who might be interested.
The Voices Project is a non-profit that trains and promotes leaders of color who work in the arts, business, church, media, politics, and education in their role as cultural influencers to bring about change. You can learn about their work at voices-project.org.
