Rector's Note: Important Updates for this Sunday
Dear Saints,
Summer is officially here! And with summer comes some new things for our Sunday morning lineup.
This Sunday we will bring back the in-person 8:00am service in the Nave. It will be followed by coffee in the Parish Hall for those who wish to stay and socialize. The call-in option will remain available for this service.
This Sunday we will also begin offering a 9:00am outdoor service, which will occur every week through the summer. This service is going to be a little bit different in that it will feature a simplified style and more leadership from our children. I’m excited to welcome parishioner and artist Trevor Guilliani who will be offering the music for the 9:00am service this week. As always, please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
Our 10:15am service will continue in-person and online followed by the outdoor Coffee Hour. Given the new guidance from our bishop, starting this Sunday masks will be optional indoors for people who have been vaccinated. People may still choose to wear them even if they have been vaccinated, but it gives people the option. We will also be removing the ropes from the pews, but there will still be plenty of room to spread out.
After the 10:15am service, in addition to Coffee Hour, we will have our Clean Up Party to spruce up the grounds. Please bring work clothes, tools, and lunch if you'd like. Some refreshments will be available. The clean up will go until 2:00pm, but you can stay for as long or as little as you can.
Finally, our Community Master Planning Presentation is going to be this Wednesday at 7:00pm on Zoom. You can find the Zoom link and information below. We would love to have as many parishioners present as possible. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like assistance with participating in the meeting.
Enjoy the beautiful summer weekend. See you Sunday!
In peace,
Andria+
