From the Church Office: Porta Potty Update
Some of you will have seen the melted porta potty that we have installed on the northeast side of our campus. There was a fire on Wednesday afternoon. The fire department was called and quickly put out the fire but not before it melted.
You will remember that we installed this convenience to help our housed and houseless neighbors. Giving folks a place to take care of their personal needs keeps the mess from our plantings and yards. The porta potty will be replaced sometime in the next week.
Please know that our car camping and houseless neighbors did not cause this destruction. We have had multiple people express gratitude for this service. Very much like when two campers rushed to stop the vandal from breaking into the pantry, one of the car campers on 41st tried to rush over and put out the blaze. Our vulnerable neighbors appreciate this ministry, and our housed neighbors do as well. Thank you!
