Celebrating Christmastide
Dear Saints,
Our celebration of Christmas continues! Observing Christmas as a season gives us time to reflect on the Incarnation, or God taking human form. We celebrate how this happened in the birth of Jesus and beyond. As Richard Rohr writes, at Christmas “we’re welcoming the Universal Christ, the Cosmic Christ, the Christ that is forever being born (incarnating) in the human soul and into history."
This Sunday, come sit in the beautifully decorated Chapel or Nave as we offer Christmas prayers, carols and readings and anticipate the beginning of a new year. After both services we will enjoy an array of delicious holiday baked goods.
Blessings to you and your loved ones in these remaining days of Christmas.
