Children's Ministry Column March 16
After discussing Saint Patrick last Sunday, I couldn’t help but think of the prayer of Saint Patrick this week as we adjusted to daylight savings “I arise today through a mighty strength…” It seemed fitting as we get nearer and nearer to Easter to think of Christ all around us. This week we will again talk about seeing and believing as we hear about Jesus healing the blind man. If your children enjoy bringing an item to share, this is a great week to remember, as we’ll use them in our story (ideally it would fit in a paper shopping bag and not be fragile).
As our youth participation has been growing, it would be helpful to have an extra volunteer each week to act as a second pair of hands to help with the activity, clean up, etc. Please let me know if you think you could help. If every family signed up for just one week we’d be well situated, as the end the school year is not too far off.
