All Saints Outreach Ministries Column
Hot Meals Returning In Person / Thanksgiving Food Drive: The pandemic brought many changes to All Saints, not the least, our Outreach Ministries. It required that we stop serving Hot Meals indoors and start providing To Go boxes to our neighbors. And, to address the need caused by COVID, we started new ministries, i.e., Hygiene, Woodstock Pantry, Clothing Closet, laundry, showers and medical. As All Saints resumes pre-covid operations, so too do the Outreach Ministries. Our longest-running ministry is Hot Meals, which is planning to serve people in the Parish Hall once again. The Hot Meals Lead Team is preparing for the move. And, we are finding that, as with so many services that COVID interrupted, we have substantial rebuilding to do. But our team is committed to the move, and we are working hard to make it happen. We are building Holiday Grocery Bags for our neighbors. By November 17, we need enough of the following items to serve 96 families. Whatever you can contribute is greatly appreciated! You can leave items in the blue bin in the Narthex. Thank you so much!
Request: Small Sugar Boxes, 29 oz. Pumpkin Cans, Boxes of Stuffing, Pumpkin Pie Spice
We also need hygiene items to share with our neighbors. Lindsay provided a link to a wish list on Amazon. You can purchase any of the items from the list. They will be sent to Lindsay.
