Adventures with the All Saints Clothing Closet

One of the best moments EVER during our monthly Clothing Closet work was when a guest wanted a buttoned shirt and “nice pants” for a job interview. While it’s true that a majority of our friends are looking for sturdy clothes that will help them brave the elements, we sometimes have guests with other needs, so it was wonderful that we found a nice buttoned shirt in the right size AND a good pair of slacks: what a joy!

We always appreciate your donations of useful clothing, and your support has been terrific. Jeans with waists in the 30’s and warmer clothing are in demand now.

Right now, the Clothing Closet could ALSO use a couple extra VOLUNTEERS on the THIRD SATURDAY of each month between 10:45 and 1:00. Please contact Deacon Linda if you’re interested! (We hope to open on other Saturdays in the future so let her know your interest)

Our 8:00 A.M. Holy Communion, Rite 1 Service, held in the Chapel, is our most traditional service. All are welcome. Our 10:15 A.M. Holy Communion, Rite II Service, held in the Sanctuary, includes a Sermon, Readings, and Hymns. You can participate In-Person or in the Live Premiere on our Facebook page or watch on our website. The current bulletin and service can always be found in the Online Worship section of our website. All are welcome.
